## Positioning

OB1 is the operating layer for people doing serious work with AI agents.

The product thesis is simple: AI work should compound. Good sessions, decisions, source maps, workflows, pricing files, prompts, proof objects, and mistakes should not disappear when the chat closes.

## Why It Matters

Most AI work has a context tax. Each serious task starts by reloading the same files, explaining the same constraints, correcting the same failure modes, and rebuilding prompts that should have become operating memory.

That means good sessions do not automatically become capability. A finished output is useful once. A captured rule, source map, decision record, proof object, or verification checklist can improve future work.

OB1 exists to turn messy AI work into visible artifacts and reusable operating memory that humans can inspect before trusting.
